It constantly astonishes me how many ‘professionals’ in this industry just want to give the patter that the client wants to hear. They think, for some reason, that this keeps a client/agency relationship stronger.
Sure, we all want to be liked – that’s basic human instinct, but do you want to be liked for saying what you think is expected or what you know to be right.
And just as hard, do you want to be a client that expects the right answer or the client that is open enough to receive good advice, despite the bitter taste it may come with?
